"The Flatwoods Monster" is an original open edition poster print by eccentric artist B. A. "Weirdo" Bernhard.
At 7:15 p.m., on September 12, 1952, two brothers, and their friend, said that they saw a bright object cross the sky and land on the property of a local farmer in the town of Flatwoods, West Virginia.
The witnesses described it as “a man-like figure, Approximately 10 feet tall, with a round blood-red face, a large pointed “Spade-like shape" around the head, claws for hands", clothing folds, and a dark greenish-black body.
Over 50 years later, skeptics concluded that the light was a meteor and the creature was a barn owl perched in a tree, with shadows making it appear to be the Flatwoods Monster!
