"Snallygaster" is an original open edition poster print by eccentric artist B. A. "Weirdo" Bernhard.
It was the 1730’s and German immigrants had settled into Frederick County, Maryland. A mysterious creature began to terrorize the community, originally referred to as “Schneller Geist” which means “Quick Ghost” in German. Described as part reptile, part bird with razor sharp teeth; it was rumored to swoop silently from the sky, pluck off it's victims and consume their blood!
